The thing with money is that we will never get enough of it. Some situation may add to the confirmation to this statement.

Situation 1.

Venue Sunway Pyramid. The hooded jacket that have been a big craze for the ladies ( refer to JLo Music vid, Jenny from the block) that year it is sold for Rm250++ . But this year, nearly 10 years from that the same pattern, but with some improvization of bejewelled hoodie; the price is not less than RM500.

wtf.

Situation 2

I learn that the more older we get, our facial regime will be add one bottle at a time. From the basic wash, tone, moisturize.. now we have wash, tone, impurities solution, dark circle cream, anti-wrinkle, serums, oil control moisturizer and the list can go on and on but still the candles on our cake increasing one stick at a time and also a line a year for the face. So, where is the money goes and where is the results?

Situation 3.

Last 5 years, I wish that my salary is a few hundred dollars more. And now, I STILL wish my salary is a few hundred dollars more.

It has been a hot sunny day for me here. The air-conditioner is broken (again and still for the last 2 months), forcing me to get myself a desk fan.

So now there will be no i-feel-hot-sweaty-excuses for not to doing the marking and submit it on time, heh?

Happy is what I need now. Happy and money that is.

Talking about money, I can still remember during my yesteryear, working as a library officer day and night (were on shift schedules) and on how I dream to have a tad bit of a few hundred dollars more monthly.

The dream have become intense year after year, and its driven me to take a leap in taking the chance to further my studies. Those days.. :) (through thick and thin.)

Someone from my previous employment organization had told me, if I felt any resentment crawling up slowly into my soul, please remember to look back in your past and count your blessings.

That thought have always made my day a little bit sunnier. :)

Anyway.

Everywhere now people start to judge poor 17 A's Amelina. Can you people just let it be? There are tons of teenagers like her going through similar situation but since they don't mark the world with achievement, and still post all sort of their happy pictures, well they do not being criticized as bad, don't they?

She just want to lead her life, so let her be. When she achieve such tremendous excellence, the whole nation wanted to share every piece of her. But now when she just being herself by having a fun uni time,

Hello. Its been awhile, I know. I'm swamped by notes-making activities everyday now, not that I am complaining but it does driving me mad some other days.

Ok, I have been tagged by a good friend of mine, Syuqri. So here goes.

So, here I am writing this down in between classes.. Its have been 4 weeks now, and so far I am still overwhelmed with structuring lectures and also other stuff in between. Since I am yet to enjoy the fruits of my labor, my mission to get those handbags and shoes are still on. I hope by the end of this year, I would have enjoyed more (fruits of my labor, that is.)

Ayra is getting bigger. She is now the proud owner of 8 tooths, shoulder length hair and also a flexible limbs. She now taken an interest to dance, she loves gummy bear song and mickey mouse hot dog song, she giggles when I tickle her feet.

A quickie note for today

a. I just witnessed a student in a library with a walker refusing help offered to plug in his laptop cable. Such determination should be admired by others.

b. I am spending my time in the library rather than my room because the room is so cold plus, here I can catch up with my reading and preparation for teaching.

c. A small gestures of kindness always diregard by other but the slightest mishaps can be a big juicy thing for other and everyone. Heh, such incidents surely put us in awkward moments.

d. I love the fact that tommorow is a public holiday, I am looking forward to spend time with Ayra every day nowdays.

e. Just heard from person from my past receiving a bundle of joy yesterday. I pray for thier happiness and blissful family.. I am happy for the good news!

f. I felt that there is something missing in my life, but I dont know what is the thing is. I hope I can shed off this feeling because I am in sore need of positive energy around me.

I think it has been quite a while Im jotting a few lines here. So, a few things lingered my mind now..

a) London's riot scares me. I pity Asyraf and I pray for his speedy recovery. Love the statement from his mom though. Tough family. I believe this is the great challenge during Ramadhan they have to endour.

b) I never knew that Lewre is a Malaysian. His quote of "It is not your hair or dress that carries you, it is always have been your shoes." Talk about speadvertise. hehe

c) I miss my ex-classmates UiTM and girlfriends from Sri Aman. Should put together a breaking fast gathering soon.

d) I haven't have the time (and money) yet to shop for Raya. Only have the opporturnity to send to the tailors some materials. I think that should be enough for me. Let me concerntrate on Ayra's part. Thats more fun to shop to.

e) I am now getting anxious and nervous at the same time, as the date of the next semester is getting closer..

Toilet thinker or toilet reader

Are you a toilet thinker, or reader? I dont know whether it is just me or anybody else but for as long as I can remember, I have been a proud toilet reader. It is just give me the liberty of freedom, free of anything else other than the business that have been done and a book to buried into. In my case, I always have some reading materials in the loo; be in a newspapers, a catalogue from the postbox, phamplets from the shopping malls. If i have to go and there is no reading material around, I will start reading any packaging info of any detergent, shampoos, bathgel whatsoever as long as I can read something.

Is it a sickness? I dont think so. By nature, I am a restless person. I need to be doing something to content the timeframe if not I will .. I dont know, I never had one moment where I havent doing something. By this including sleeping and eating and watching tv..hehehe

I thought that I will change as soon as I get married, but its a habit that hard to break. It is handy though, because I bring all the notes for all my exams (sorry for those that have been loaning my notes, now you know why there are water stains , haha) and maybe that is my escape time from the world.

Since now my husband and I are actively looking for our own home, this particular area is very crucial for me. I need a bigger space in the toilet as I love it to be my own private area.

Room for mags and books like this would be enough to makes me happy..

How the days treating you so far? Good? Alhamdulillah..

1. My husband will be off to some management courses in Seremban, hence the pang of loneliness (pre-mediate for a drama queen like me and Ayra). I dont know how I will manage without him for a few days. nanti balik cepat ye bang...

2. Ayra is getting bigger, and she's about to turn 1 during the first day of Ramadhan this year. I have planned to have a little breaking fast plus doa selamat at the surau, and now is calculating the reasonable budget for it. Do we have to buy cakes? bukan org bukak puasa carik nasik? over tak kalau nak letak belon2 bagai? Ayra nak pakai ape? Makbapak Ayra pulak macamana? nvm, brainstorming will be conducted after the chef return from Seremban.

3. I think I have to start blogging actively from now on, to improve my (inner) conversation, writing skillls. My writing is running on rust surface, and dont get me started on my speaking ability. I am very worried about how am I going to handle a class full of students with my thick-asian tongue that jokingly direct-translate everything? I'm not sure whether it is a good thing or a bad thing.

4. It is official now that I have become a staff of public institutions. Alhamdulillah, kije gomen mokcik ni hihihihi.. I have a very long way to go as for learning will be the one thing that never had an end.

I'm having a bad flu.

Thus, despite the heavy head (due to throbing headache) I managed to come in to work. What work since the ALIEP had past? I dont really know.

So, here I am typing this along with other things that have been put away for a while.

I am now taking an interest of latest property development (due to the fact that all these have been shoved up my face by Mr. Hubby) and looking forward to own one someday. (amiin) There are a lot of new development in the progress, one just have to look up their financial statement before investing into one (nowadays the price is near close to ridiculous).

I can say that the traffic around here is worsen day by day. Something need to be done to avoid any unwanted incidents.

Its close to 5 already. Time to go home.

As much as the heat has been swiftly felt nearer, we as the *committee of the conference begun to take necessary actions and preparations for the registration part. I really hope that the team could execute all the tasks given gracefully, with minor mishaps.

There some things that have been torturing my mind;

1. Traffic

Notice that traffic from SJ/Sunway/Puchong/otherplacesfromGodknowswhere are increasing, day by day every minutes and every second? It droves me insane to experience colourful "manners" of Malaysian driving like listed below..

cuts lane without even have the courtesy to give signals;
driving slow in the fast lane and fast in a slow lane;
talking to the hp while driving (exclude the hands-free wearer)
putting make-up in a bumper-to-bumper jam;
melodramatic drivers that choose purposely to stop their cars whenever they like while (being a drama) mouthboxing the other person who have kiss thier vehicles **S.

Salam to all. Today is not a very productive day for me. And therefore I am proudly to do this tag from a beauty blog mywomenstuff.

Are you into diets and dieting?

I dont think so. I love food. That contributed for my body-scale expansion but still, I am watching what I eat. Dieting for me comes when it is fasting month, I do hope that the weight scale will be good to me this year.

Sweet or savoury?

Sweet. Eh, savoury. No, sweet. I think its both. I always love junk food, wether it is sweets like ice creams, marshmellows, sweets, or tasty chips and such. This is also why I am not into dieting at the first place.

Are you hot tempered?

No. I often raised my voice whenever something not right has been happening for quite a time. I dont bother to question any incidents that are too pitsy to critically analyzed. But, I do have my saiko moments esspecially during that time of the month.

One beauty item you’ve been experimenting with this week?

Eye shadow. I bought it after visualizing myself with coloured-contacts and heavy false lashes. I am now experimenting with the color yellow and green because as for purple, pink and brown, those colour I have been using like forever. Lets pray that I dont end up looking like an iguana.

Do you shop online?

Sometimes. Most of the stuff I bought is for Ayra, just a few of the stuff goes to me like shawl and such. My husband however love to shop online, and he has bought stuffs from absorber for Perdana to Fogskin sunglasses.

Its Monday already isnt it? How time flies. It is not yet noon (at the time of typing this) but I am longing for another weekend. A major case of adaption failure.

As the project is coming to its near end, I am very grateful to have the chance to involves in the project as big as this one. And this is not a sarcastic statement.

A new survey conducted in the name of market research by daily deal company Eversave revealed some surprising and some not so surprising statistics about what women really think about their Facebook friends.

The results of the survey, which was conducted among 400 women in the USA, were published on technology blog Mashable on March 30.

While 400 is not a large sample size of the female population on Facebook, the survey found that the majority of women were annoyed by some common personality types and traits shared by their friends.

The most annoying habit of Facebook friends, according to 63 percent of women surveyed, was "complain[ing] all the time."

Other annoying traits of Facebook friends included posting political opinions, which annoyed 41 percent of women, and "bragging [boasting] about their perfect lives," for 32 percent, while 16 percent got peeved at Facebook friends who were "always posting updates about their precious kids."

The women surveyed were also asked to indentify personality types they were friends with on Facebook. The results are as follows:

65 % were friends with a "documentarian" - someone who constantly documents his or her life
61 % said they were friends with "a drama queen"
57 % were friends with '"a proud mama"
46 % were friends with "a liker" - someone who constantly "likes" Facebook posts
40 % were friends with "a poser"
35 % were friends with a "frenemy - an enemy whom both parties pretend is a friend
30 % were friends with a "one upper" - someone who constantly tries to do things better than others.
26 % were friends with an "airbrusher" - a person who alters photos to appear more attractive

Also, worryingly, 25 percent of the women surveyed were friends with a "stalker" - a person who follows their posts and activities through Facebook.

However, not all the women on Facebook may actually be real. A "virtual girlfriend" service known as Cloud Girlfriend is expected to be launched soon; the service will provide a virtual girlfriend in terms of status updates via Facebook to men who wish to boost their online relationship credentials. First of all, I felt sorry for my friends that have to work today (some state in Malaysia start thier week on Sunday till Thursday) nor that I jealous with the fact that they are off on Fridays. So, to all my friends in SP, happy working ok!

I am going to load some pictures on some stuff to let go, and most of the stuff (like clothes, and maybe other few things) are somehow branded and need a new masterji because the current masterji have had it with clothes set by trend (oh, and also the masterji have grew sideways --> read: the real reason) I ensure that the clothes are in good conditions and will be selling very cheap one! (suddenly felt like my favourite nyonya who sells fish in Pasar Jalan Othman).

FYI, Ayra have taken her first steps yesterday, I am so happy to see my baby girl is growing fast!

On top of that, I have some 'incidents' with one slimming/beauty centre. Will be writing about that in another entry.

A long ranting entry about myself.

Today, I opt not to take the long-awaited lunch break (its Friday and it seems that here this kind of action is considered something like wth.) I think of finishing my remaining task before another (ad-hoc, like always) task coming in. So, within the task-performing process, I hope that I can update more on whats going on with me, seeing that it has been quite sometime I have made an entry in this blog.

1. I am beginning to learn the rhythm on how things flow around here. Therefore, since I have shift my career from evolves around private institutions, I hope I will be well-adjusted to fit in as a servant of my country ( and not to mention my race; as it has been ranting all and about around here). I dare not to make any comments on the load and the people just yet because I am certainly in the adjusting phase. I hope my existence here will be welcome warmly by fellow seniors.

2. I have been busy with adjusting myself into motherhood; juggling along with being a student trying to strive for my mission to accomplish my studies on time. During that time, I neglected the fact that I have forgot to take care of myself. The result is horrible. My joints aches if I spent too much sitting or performing duty in the same sitting positions, but I have read for some BF mothers; there is a possibility of decrease of calcium in our body as we have transferred the vitamins and whatnot to the baby while BF. So the symptom of joint pains is often occur in such situation.

I am searching the best way possible to maintain my health, and I am seriously need to get back in shape.

3. I am looking forward to the time where I can be monetary independent; as I am now rely on the 3 months once allowances from my scholarship. It is hard to manage and since I love to shop for my Ayra, (and sometime for myself) and supposedly books and other study stuff, there will be nothing less for me to keep. That too, should take the spot on the list of managing my life.

4. I also need to start to invest myself for a property, but the price in the market nowadays is ridiculously high; it seems like something impossible for me, at this time. But, if I wait any longer the prices will sky high and at that time I will be cursing myself back and questions my decision now. So how?

Again, after all this hustle tone down a little, I need to take a minute to re-assessing my life and organized my goal properly. And for that, I need a heap tons of prayers and patience.

Beauty Products

To whoever people that know me for the past years, they will know that I am not the type that will hustle on beauty products. But now, as I have grew older (and inches sideways..hehe) I sometimes spend some of my time surfing for beauty enhancement products and services. I have known some of my friends that are devoted to thier beauty regime, and some of them go with the latest trend on the market, and most is like me, ignorance beauty brat. Heh.

Is having the complete set of beauty-related stuff will make our life more than it is or it is just a hoax of the industry to proclaim mandatory for women to be justified according to what they have/wear/apply?

I am not opposing the need to stay beautiful and healthy. I am just curious on how other woman, like myself see this through. Below I list the common beauty products that have been labeled a must-have item.

1. Facial Cleanser/Toner/Moisturizer

Since I was thirteen years old, I have been bombarded with the perfect figure of a woman should be, thin and nice skin. It is quite rough years for me, as I am fighting with severe acne all over my face. Some friends jokingly describe my face as a moon, smooth by far but scar-able when see up close.

So, I have been to the supermarket/pharmacy/clinics to seek for the best facial cleansers and regime for me. As the years goes by, I have used almost all over-the-counter trios of cleanser,toner and moisturizer and one thing I can be assured is that nothing can give 100% guarantee that the skin will be smooth forever, as in my case it is hormonal so everytime I tried a product, it only lasted a while before the pimples come back again.

It is all about determination and constant usage of the product that only we can get the (desire) result on the long run.

2. Make-ups

Using eye shadows and blushers, lipstick and eyeliners does have a certain positive aura to one nature self. This is said based on my own understanding and experience, whilst the moments from being normal to being superbabe- normal. The reason is that while everyday we have deal with our natural self without having any foreign marks on our face. Next after we put on make ups or just a simple lippie and powder our self we found the person in the mirror is a little bit fresher than ordinary.

Maybe it is all just in our mind.

3. Spa packages

I love going to the spa, to have a relaxing times and come out feeling like a diva. Milk bath, coconut scrub, massages, facials, and also medi-pedi will ensure that the women will feel most girlie and the fact that some massages or treatment offered is said that it can reduce weight and fat, is most flatterring for people like me. Only thing is, here in Malaysia we are not accustomed to splurge on self-indulgence activities, we often opt spending our money where we can enjoy it together with loved ones, nice food, vacations etc.

Hmm..

So, I must find myself a spa-buddy soon.

Project

2 weeks ago, I was bustling to get my IS done, so that I have my own sweetest time as in holiday, before I start a new chapter in my after-student life. But Allah had other plans. Right after I submit my final assesments, I have been assigned to involves in the Faculty on-going project.

My feeling? Hmm.. I dont know, wether to be frustrated or happy or delightful but one thing for sure, from the moment I took a step inside the project room, I knew I am heading for something big.

No holiday for me I guess.

1990's: Life without Facebook and Youtube

Assalamualaikum,

Life without FB or youtube is probably will be something like having coffee with no milk and sugar. Some doesnt care. some cant live without it. Some do not know the difference. have you ever wondered how our life could be without it? At first, I have refused to see myself as someone who will be relying on FB for my source of communication and entertainment but when I tripped over everything just to log in into FB to see the latest class photos, it snapped back at me.

Like, all this while when interactive networkings still not in the picture, we all can depend on oher sources of entertainment and communication and still the outcomes satisfied most of us. But now, everybody must be busy FB-ing, or twittering, youtubing or anything else to express the desire and more desire of using the internet, and let the internet control us.

Look at back to the years of 1990's..

1. TV will still be the big THING

Fb and youtube help us sharpened our sights by scrutinizing the dusk of our 20x11cm lappy or hp or bb. I'm sure with this emergence of technology, some of us might forgot how the remote function.

2. Long hours call

I still remember during the days when there are FB and youtube or anything info-crazy on the internet other done mIRC (talk in acronyms and declamation marks, i dont know how i can understand that), there will be a girlie talks over the phone like hourss and hours. This is long before anyone in my circle of friends could afford handphones; and not all of us have internet conection at home.

We would talk about .. i dont know, boy homework gossips artists stupid jokes anything else possible to be a piece of conversation. Now, my longest record of talking over the phone is 10 minutes. anything else could be FB/twit/BBM/YM later.

3. Recreational activities

My friends and I do have some outdoor activities we enjoy the most, window-shopping. Strolling down every stores possibles in any mega-mall and trying shoes, clothes, make ups, bags, and everything bring us solace. We do some sweat-prone activities like jogs (once when the moon turns purple) and now the FB syndrome have taken the people to seat thightly to ensure thier cow have eaten right in thier ville while listening to vclip at youtube.

I mean, there is nothing wrong of using FB.But there is no harm of having some outdoor excitement once in a while.

1. Maybe in 2027, there are no school for youngsters that are younger than 10 years old; seeing that the crime rate involved the school goers is high. All must be home schooled and a mother have to undergo intensive training on how to be a teacher.

2. There will be no foreign maids; all childrens must be with thier mother always. there will be a childcare centre everywhere; and woman will be granted a luxurious time allocate to entertain thier children.

3. Better yet, all mothers are not required to work; however will be given a salary based on thier education level on servicing to produce more nationality individuals.

Happy birthday to me..

It is sad to think that on my birthday, I have to force my lazy-self to be in front of this; typing and typing and typinggggg for all the assignments that due around the corner.

As am I writing this, there are 3 more core assignments need to be done; and exams will be schedule sometimes during next month and INSYAALLAH, I will be free from this chaotic madness of juggling every responsibilities that human being ever bear later after that.

So.. wish me luck everybody because there is nothing more meaningful than having a scroll for my birthday gift this year.

If I need to measure the sustainability of my mind strength and endurance for the past 16 months, I would say that the graph will probably looks like a big shiny rainbow.

With me (still) trying to be a supermom, a superstudent and a super everything, these all have taken its toll; time flies faster than a bullet train nowdays. Sometimes I will got so hype up and trying to catch the sky with everything in hand but will be stranded soon after take off; taking me down into a mudhole full of hopelessness.

Maybe this is what they say about the mid-life crisis.

In a mean time, although the works have been pilling up; I am in the mood of the kickback lifestyle. In denial of the fact that all these will haunted me down later. Too tired to be optimistic anymore. I am trying to go-with-the-flow mode, it seems to be working just fine now.

Only a few jolt of reality will keep me coming back for a little awareness.

Suddenly the crave to write had stopped.

Im been having too much luxury time and now when finally it constraints me of doing something I like, the need to express spurs.

Well, I'm only human.

So, new year. Frankly, there is no excitement having to have a fresh start. This year begin with the fact that I am nearly to hit that big 3-0. What I have achieve so far is far beyond shame. Or maybe I expect too much?

I am looking forward to finish big this semester. Started with a little bumpy (literally) and had vanish the will to focus plus the bitter detoriation of interest had taken me back but I am now looking at life like Katy Perry's song.*

Yes, I might not have the same space and free time like others but hey, a few like mua had done it and why not me?

So, lets just hope that this optimistic feeling is here to stay.

November have been very VERY generous to me. I got to spend time with Ayra and my family and myself more. Hence the fact that I vowed to trim my figure; to shed off the pregnancy weight but it seems no avail. Laziness have taken it justice.

My mom have safely undergone a major surgery to remove the uterus; which later we found that there are more story of it than just stopping her overflowed menses due to her pre-menopaus state. But that just something I rather keep it to myself and rant about it just yet.

So, I got to take over the chores; laundry plus cooking (which I'm getting better, yeay to that) plus chores plus errands plus taking care of my baby girl and also my mom. All of it makes me tired but to see my little angel smiles and gigles and learn new tricks makes all the effort seems easy and fun.

Alhamdulillah.

Now that the end on 2010 is getting nearer, I wondered wether my existance as a daughter, a student, a wife and also a mother have given me some perspectives on life. But I am too busy playing all the roles and never to stop thinking about it, by just doing it bit by bit that I conclude myself to be a learnning object towards developing its own wisdom.

There were times when the outcomes have not to my liking, and there can be so many reasons to it but only self infliction can be to blame.

I once look life as a vaccuum cleaner; it sucks. But I stand to the momentoes by diverting the sense of positiveness into the word of wisdom; Let it be a vaccumm cleaner; it sucks dirt and let freshness stays.

As im writing this, I am determined to understand the concept of SECI Model, by Nonaka & Takeuchi. I am going to sit for KM exam tonight, hence the irrelevancy of this entry.

There are few things lingering on my mind;

1. The new budget presented by the govt said it 'contributed on the ppl beneficial and walfare'.. Some of it true, i guess. Heck, the hp's price will be down approx. RM100 next year. Plus, there are chances people like me (that have below RM3k income per month) to acquire a house loan deposit-free, which is a good move for both the banking industry, housing property industry plus the receiving end, customers aka the people. I hope it will do us all good.

2. Nothing really matters rather than finishing projects documentation and sit for exams.

3. Ayra is growing healthy and happy. I am impressed with myself( and the help of my mom) to raise a living cutest creature so far with minor mishaps. Good jooobbbb!!

4. Today is my 3rd wedding anniversary. Like.. already?? I wish we could live together as a happy, healthy and Insyaallah, a prosperous family forever and ever..

5. ANd.. I wish to have lots and lots and lotssss of money now to buy all the cutest dresses for Ayra a for now I am nurturing my wants just a little bit more. hehe

Have you wonder the amount of strength and motivations once have to multitask?

I have chosen not to bother about this earlier during my donkey years, but now I am somehow forced to re-assess myself, seeing that I have my daughter to be responsible to. It is different if I am working and a mother than studying and being a mother.

When working, all that we need to worry about is to submit to the tasks given to you. After praising the ass to who you need to praise, you can come back home and be a mother and this will start all over again the day after and another, unless our priorities have change or you are longing for a raise or promotion.

While studying, eventhough you are not bound with the 9-5 time, we still need to organize the time on our own; which always fail as there will always be a milk to be fed and diapers to change.

While at this, I am assure that I am not regretting any of the life changes around me. It does make me loose my mind at first but as soon as I got the momentum, everything flows easily.

Now that I am in my last month of this semester, the assignments and tests are pilling up, surely the demand from my daughter are increasing, I hope that i will cope with all this madness swiftly as the air goes by.

Mothering + studying = A great pillars of strength, determination and focus

To succumb the fact of me getting into parenthood (motherhood), I have done research (ceh!) by questioning every people possible that I think have the relevant experience. Little that feedbacks have done me justice, except for one simple answer, follow my instict.

By following what I thought is the best way to woo and soothes my baby girl is a great challenge. What with me juggling with dued assessments and projects and this Raya holiday jolted it back to square one. How I wish I am a superwoman, with the power to multitask every single thing at once.

To schedule my activities between breastfeeding, diaper changing, bonding with baby Ayra and doing assesments, articles reading and project solving have given me a view of extraordinary life. I am humbly thought that only a strong will and purpose-oriented mind can do such thing at a great length.

I envy mothers that are excel with their jobs, it may looks simple and routine enough to go through the day but it is a known fact that it also can be tiry, hectic and chaos. For this I have prayed silently, that maybe I could be granted sum of the positive aura to go through the day.

With assignments pilling up (and starting need a very big strength and time) I often afraid to neglect my responsibility as a main provider to the little ones. Sure, the husband always there when I need him the most, but he aint got the storage of milk nor the freedom of time on weekdays to attend to baby Ayra needs.

I am still searching for the momentum to juggle this life of mine, after all at the end of it when every chaotic moments ends, seeing baby Ayra smiling and soundedly asleep plus a good set of term papers being done and neatly print and combed-bind, there are this spark in me that whispers that this is all worth it.

Salam Everyone.

1. First, I would like to wish you all a very happy Ramadhan and May Allah bless us with all the good things in life. Amiinn..

2. Its have been 24 days since my labour. My, what a ride it was. To come to think of it deeply; how now I salute all the mothers who undergone a crucial, pain and all-sort-of-suffering during the process. Alhamdulillah, mine was smooth; too smooth actually, Allah blessed me with no feeling of the contraction pain, until the very last dilation.

With that, I surrender myself to all the doctors in the labour room, pushing down when I was asked to push, without knowing and feeling any urge to do so. Alhamdulillah, I had a normal delivery; assist with a vacuum at a very last minute because of exhaustion. I was worried that my baby's head will somewhat turned into a cone-like head; as the saying goes around that any vacuum assisted delivery will re-sculpt the baby's head into something funny.

Well, that's not true. Alhamdulillah, my baby's head turned out perfectly fine.

I was overwhelmed with so many feelings when the baby was born; until the most unforgettable experience of being stitch (2 times) and FELT EVERY PULLING THREADS. Allah Maha Adil. Allah takes away my contraction pain, and replace it with this. Typing about this made me squirk eerily as the experience will never past out my memory box, for now.

3. Breastfeeding at first was extremely painful for me. My nipple condition is fragile; and had cracked 2-3 times upon breastfed and pumped. Many nights I cried agonizing pain whenever the little princess screaming; asked to be fed. During that time, I thank Allah that I have a very understanding husband; who always give me the right words for comfort and always up whenever it is a feeding time.

Thank you ye Sai.

4. Now that I have settled the breastfeed dilemma, the stiches had dissolve and my body is re-instating it normal figure, I am now adjusting of the motherhood timezone; up all night and drowsy all day..

5. Its Ramadhan and I am not fasting for the whole month. It will take me years to replace all 30 days of this later.

There are three things that I wish I have done it sooner; or atleast before the delivery.

1. I want to have a belly-casting section. You know, the one that you mould your tummy and turn it into an art piece and hang it proudly so that it can be a sentimental piece of rememberance. But it is too expensive (and messy) to do.

2. Do the daily- journal of the journey of pregnancy; but there are too many preggers blog with much more exciting and coherent input; plus earlier I have difficulty of accepting that I am an embryo-carrier; scares me. So that too went into the drain.

3. I love watching preggers photos; esspecially if they are from all walks of life; not the typical expecting-model we see on TV or in the magazine. It seems real to have people who are beautiful and confident; that have thier real jobs and real obstacles during 40-weeks of god-work in progress. This too, I thought will be go down the drain but a good friend of mine; a newly photographer, have asked me to be the art object of the day.. its FOC, how can I say no to that? hehe..

Next week is my third last follow up, before my EDD. I am getting nervous every minutes of the day..

I wonder how can I be a good mom whereas in nature I am wee bit carefree-like?

In my 34 weeks, I am getting strecth marks that increasingly noticeable. Thanks to Bio-Oil, I can prevent myself the urge to scratch my tummy whenever the itch comes. My MIL bought me the first bottle when I am 4 months pregnant, and now I am starting my second bottle. It is cost saving solutions for those who cant afford to splurge on Alemis, Pornton and other expensive massage oil and do works wonders too..

The most itchy part of my body is the scar I got during my laproscopic appendix extraction, 2 years earlier. Eventhough it just a tiny 2 cm scar, it does get me crazy as the skin expands and thighten the area.

A this stage of pregnancy, I am eager for the moment to comes where all of these will end.

1. World Cup Fever

I am thanking God that my husband is not a fanatic to a football game. Although once in a blue moon he will check the internet for the latest leagues result or whatever.

I used to be forced to watched every game during world cup during donkey years and although I don't really understand the game ( a bunch of hot hunks with nice buttocks chasing for a ball) I found it interesting and overwhelmed with anxiety when the side we choose actually won.

The theme song for this WC is quite catchy and makes the guy drooling over Shakira's-shaking-it-all-about. hehe..

2. 32 weeks

Owh, the baby is kicking vigorously while I am typing this. Hehe.

So far, I haven't missed any check up and according to the doctor I am OK and the baby is doing great. Now that the doctor have confirmed the gender, I could get something for the baby in that particular color.. although I am sooooo tempted to buy as much, but hubby and the rest of the families said it is too soon.

Owh well, maybe later.

Now that I am in my last trimester, I am overwhelmed with a variety of feelings.. am I ready? how its gonna be like? What do I have to face? What kind of challenges? Am I going it through alone? and alive?

Many of my friends and families gave advices that only makes me confuse as ever.

Well, I think this is how the newly mom felt.

Now that I am big as a whale, with matching accessories of skin blotchiness, rashes, cellulite and stretch marks, I really do hope the person inside of my will turn out fine.

and thats why I never posted the latest picture of mua. I am too embarrassed.

If this post will be the last post and next will be my encounter experience with the stirrups, Do forgive all my wrong doings and pray for me and the baby.

29 weeks and counting..

Being pregnant, I noticed that it is not always floating on a cloud nine. The first trimester, I have been through a very rough evening/morning sickness and what with coping a life changing schedule at that time. I still remember how difficult to drag myself to even attend classes; let alone sitting in front of the laptop doing assessments and what not. I thought for pregnancy people, for those that perky always and perform the best; why am I not one of them?

I used to blame it to myself, the laziness and giving up, the slow pace of comprehensions and feedback. Friends, families and husband tend to reach out and try to boost the motivation, but to no avail. It just that for many days I tend to think that I have redirected my dream, I have thoughts of bailing out; such an irony as this is what I have been wanting all my life. Until one day I have fed up complaining and just go with the flow; despite doing it with a very heavy heart.

I am surely enough I made it through this semester.

I just cant describe the feeling of submitting the last paper and have a prolong weeks of break. Now, I can adjust myself and getting ready, something that I have delaying to do because of it is sort of unexpected; and occasionally I still have that twirling feeling in my stomach that churned on and off, as it is a very big responsibility awaits.

Still until now, I ponder with such confusion wether I have any cravings, or any food temptation. I am not a fussy eater, only that I dislike consuming red meat; hence before I got pregnant. I got a few pregnant classmates and friends, and they all experienced different cravings at different stages.

Being 29 weeks; I left with another 11 weeks before my due date is up. I barely wonder whats going to be like; as it terrified me the most on what will happen when my due date is up.

One semester down, two more to go..

Wow.. it has been months since I can actually sit still in front of the laptop doing anything else than coursework and assignments. It is such a relief to have all this time flying by without worrying for any datelines and follow-up calls.

Alhamdulillah.

I now longing for a weekend getaway; seeing that my hubby cannot take a weekdays off.. Just want to swing to nearby place(s) and just to put my feet up and enjoy the company. Hmm.. wish that will happen soon.

A family gathering is on its way.. actually it is more like a family holiday rather than gathering; and it is scheduled sometime end of this year.

The thought of it makes me beaming with anxiety the whole day.. hehe..

I also have to start shopping for necessities for welcoming the new member of the family; but I dont really know where to start. Plus, I am saving up for buying that extra special things for this precious one.

But then again, all this thought have made me deeper into the uncertainties, possibilities of numerous doubts that often occur in my mind and makes me jittery all the way.. How to overcome it?

I hope this break will brings me the solace and peace of mind Im looking for.

The day the social life ends.

I have already left behind in my social circle of friends nowadays. The classes, the assignments, the extra- office works.. I am almost forgot that in my condition, I have to take it slow.

But, this was I signed up for. Any collateral damage that about to happen, or already happened, or going to is within my agreement in the contract.

I am not be able to write for leisure since March, the month of my hubby's and my birthdays. Hubby managed to pull some surprise party; But I on the other hand have to canceled his surprise party due to some reason. But, hey.. at least we have fun on mine.

There already have been a few presentations; and Alhamdulillah so far my group members and me can manage it very well.

Went to see a movie; KL-Drift. Haha. yeah, tell me about it. Sahizie Sam is the reason.

This weekend will be my bro-in-law wedding and solemnization; the last one in the family. It will be held in Melaka and we will be going there tommorow Insyaallah.

P/S: To all my friends, I am so sorry not having to have time to loitering like before. Just wait until my finals. Then we go round2 KL and play arcade game at Sogo ok?

Restoring my weekend.

The first test is finally over. Now that we all can smile naturally again, we are taken aback again with overwhelming amount of assignments. Well, a student have to do, what a student have to do, right?

Last 2 weeks, my weekend were filled 9- 5 with a workshop that at first I thought a complete waste of time. I was wrong. The preservation workshop was kind of fun, because we don't actually have to learn anything, just gaining new experience and sharpened the skills of becoming saintly patience with slow movements and grace of our hands. Delicate paper that most of it aged more than 100 years old, we managed to restore some ( and destroy some of it along the time spend in class, hehe) and the result we can say 'to be proud of'. hehe.. So, anyone to hire a archivist to restore important and damaged documents?

Being enthusiastic and highly-motivated students, my class have decided to prolong the experience by visiting the National Archieve in Jalan Duta. There, we see the advance restoration techniques and I can see that it takes so much effort and skills to complete a task. No wonder they are all highly paid. Plus they got to wear the lab coat.

I am so jealous. It is the nearest occupation to doctor that got to wear the white lab coat. Heh.

So, since I have devoted 2 of my weekends in a lab, I think (no, I MUST) deserve myself a treat. Being it good food, a new pants ( normal pants cant fit my growing belly) or a good cuddle.

A good cuddle would be nice.

The Catostrophe of mismanagement of time.

Next week will be the semester break for us. Like, already??? I just in a verge of accepting the reality that I am a student just yet, and its already mid-term?

*panic mode on*

This means that I will be splurge with the un-real heaven of time before the hell starts. Aigh.

By the way, my husband and I have been planning ( well, not a sit-down-and-talk but kind of raising up the matter while chatting) to have a quick getaway before our next getaway include strollers and diapers (we have another 5-6 months to ourselves before the baby arrives), and with the opportunity of CNY break it will be a fun treat to both of us.

So, where to go and suitable for relaxing? I opt for beaches, but I have no idea where.

Seeing that I have only this week to get into my paperwork, I will try my best to manage and squeeze as much as possible for it to be started and stroll along over the weekends. I really don't want to ruin my CNY holiday, I miss cuddling and walking hand-in-hand with my hubby and I want to do it guilt-free and stress-free.

A start of a heavy battle..with myself.

First, let me tell you what happen in Pangsun.

The birds were chirping, and the weather was just nice, all participants going crazy over the obstacles course and the extreme sports and spending time for tazkirah and some motivational segments. Only thing is,

I was forbidden to go. (due to my fragile condition, I was advice to stay at home and rest.)

I am actually excited at the very last minute to join. Well, maybe next trip then.

It is now past 11 pm, and I am a little bit tired from class but I have to get something done before tomorrow noon or else this will badgering my mind and I will not have a happy weekend. I realize that I am a bit slow catching up while others have submitted their paper ages ago, I am still battering my eyelashes to complete only half of it.

A sign of aging, perhaps?

I am lucky to have close members that enthusiastically motivates me day to day to survive each assignments.

I am now praying hard to be able to complete it all, and for that I am trying to find my inner-will that seems to be somewhere but here, now.

Current Mood: Swingingly.

Tommorow will be my 1st time ever to be outstation. Ok. It is not really an outstation. I have to attend a motivational camp due to some indigenous idea to ensure people like us keep up a certain level of motivational level .

Whatever.

I am in the brinks of giving it all up, assessment keep piling up and my body could not comprehend much longer haul as it used to. Maybe a motivational jolt is what i really need now.

Speaking of which, the camp will be in Hulu Langat area and there will be a lot of outdoor activities which I could not attend, to lazy to participate, no mood to join. But remind me to bring along my camera so that I could capture all those actions happening there.

I am looking forward to go to this wedding, which started on the day the camp supposed to ends, I hope I could make it, I miss loitering and gossiping around my girlfriends.

Studying make me feel so lonely.

1. Condolences to Johorian. I am sure all have felt the sorrow. May Allah bless him.

2. I am quite busy with assignments; that seems to be ovulating and multiplying each time I have done one to another. I have missed this feeling; uneasy-ness, restless and the feeling of abandoning everything. But, I have made and still making new friends; young and old and I now look at life from many different perspectives thanks to them. May Allah have mercy and provide me strength to acquire knowledge to be fed to others; Insyaallah..amiin.

3. I am required to go to this motivational workshop end of this month for three days. Can I survive without my husband? Soon we will found out.

I will write more when I have the time. Right now, I need to find source of motivation to keep me accupied to finish up my assignments.

Here comes the New Year..

The termination of my brother's broadband and a bumpy condition of my health have taken a while since the last post. It has been a solid month that I have stayed at home; doing nothing other than nursing my ever expanding body.

Since 2010 would be my year to start back holding a pen for marks rather than for the work to be done; I have take some of necessary plans into actions;

1. Make sure my stationery supplies enough to last me for the whole course.

2. Rehearse on timing for driving through massive jam and be there on time (and safe.)

3. Bought a new broadband for easy access to the bigger world (cater esspecially for completing the assignments; but we know it is actually to release my hunger of technology to keep in touch with friends and such.. hehe)

4. Manage a new life carelessly and freely (I have been granted 18 months of freedom) before taking the responsibility. A Bigger resposibility that is.

We will celebrate our new year soon, and my only wish is that 2010 would offer me much bless and better prospect for all of us.

A Breath of Fresh Air - everybody's remedy

I never had the chance to say a proper goodbye to whom that may concern liaising with me throughout the entire time of me being a librarian in UCI.

Maybe it had saved many tears and helped me to move on fast. I missed them already; but thinking about the workload I have been given and how many times I cried alone in the bathroom; How many calls the suppliers have made to scream to me asking for their money (which by the way, they have to ask the finance regarding any payments) and endless paperwork and tons of billions other things that made me, I think to resign is the best option.

I admit that I kept myself remote from others from the first few months I joined there. It kept my perspective straight and away from the office/management bureaucracy. Only later that I have made some friends to vent my frustration or just gossiping.

Hehe.

It has been a week that I have become jobless. I may will be starting on my part time soon, and I have start preparing for me to start studying. I may go somewhere where passports need to be taken together soon for a quick break cum business opportunity.

Talking about this makes my stomach twirl with fright. I hope I have what it takes to endure such things all over again.

Hello. It has been a long time since I sit in front of a PC. The unpacking process have taken so much time and there are many itsy bitsy things that need to be done fast before my last day.

Alhamdulillah.. the new librarian have came in last week and handover notes have been done so far everything except the acquisition part have been covered; plus I am sure with the experience that he had previously, he will not have any problems handling this library.

Good luck for your future library undertaking, Syuq. Beware of the office 'snakes' and 'sparrows'.. Haha.

Bold move from a person that already decide not to give a twit of concern anymore.

These are the boxes of books that have been arranged accordingly and labelled by using call no.

The shelves have been disambled and taken to the new place; leaving boxes of books behind. If I am not mistaken, 180 boxes all together for books, more than 20 boxes for library documents and other stuff, 12 boxes of library PCs and 32 boxes of library file holders.

This is the internet usage station for students and I will definitely miss this arrangement as in the new building the arrangement is rather vertically boring.

This is Fiza in the new building. She probably thinking hard on how to settle this hundred of boxes with only 4-6 people power?You can see behind is the metal pieces of the shelves being lay down and ready to reassamble. We are all very sceptical on meeting the dateline but hehe.. But we have made it, with the help of a few good people around.. We thank you all for your support!! (You know who you are guys~)

The library is partially done when we open it up for students and within a few days and weeks, the internet connection is on and soon we will have the new photocopy and printing services (with a charge card, students have to buy lorr..)

It is overwhelming to see that through our sweat and dreadful hours, it turn into something that everyone give compliments to.

Today is the 3rd day of a 4-days training for MOE SPSS smart's schools. I am lucky enough to be a protege and it is a great preparation for myself for being at the head of the classroom later.

We never know what kind of good comes when you have submit some in the past.

It will be only days before I will last called as a librarian. I am surely will be missing all the actions and friends I made along the journey. But first, there will be a great project for me to finish before bidding farewell.

I felt that a sudden panic attacking me. I dont think I'm ready just yet.

Oh, well.

I cant dream a dream of highest peak of the mountain, and refuse to struggle climbing for it, right?

P/S: Food here is not bad, but there are too many people at one time. And I have heard that the rate per room here is astonishingly high.

I think I had enough entries about me whining the facts of work-related stress and all. The truth is, this kind of thing have not been discussed earlier in the classroom during study and we all take for granted that everything will be fine or something will work out.

We all love to blame to others for any implications that dragged us to shitty situations. I am sorry for those who have been trapped into that situation and I think I can imagine how they suffer in silence; especially if it circulating among the ones that have the most influence and power.

How to overcome? The truth is, it is still remain a mystery and it is up to one-self to stand up to fight for it or to just lay low for it to pass by.

I don't know why I am writing all this but I think it have to do with situations my friends are facing now. Nothing like that ever happen to me; Alhamdulillah and hope it never will.

How can I ever stand if my father suffucate me like this?

Could a father ever be so overly protective for his daughter? In Papadom. they do. The movie portrays an undivided love of a father to his daughter and through the pressure of granting his late wife's wish.

All I can say is, this is the best movie Afdlin have ever done so far; and I think this genre and it wicked approach of bringing some values through humor is amazing.

I have read through some movie makers interviews and they claims that it is harder to make people laugh than cry. I agree. There are so many types of jokes that are funny but most of them arent funny enough to be presented in a movie.

To that, there are many of trial and error need to be done to understand the crowd wants and certainly this film have been through several research to capture the most audience. I went to one of the cinema to watch the movie; and although it is weekdays it is semi-full house.

The will that confused

The Raya fever is gradually over by now; hence the invitations for open- houses have been piling up and booked our weekends. More free foods, more saturated and unsaturated fats that certainly be cosy enough resting in my body without the risk of being melt away. (I am too lazy to exercise, that's why.)

Don't mind yourself to give me words of advice or two, for that I have lost my will.

On the other end of frustration and self-guilt and not to mention being a whine-ass, a ray of sunshine shone as my SIL, Kak Su have presented me a lovely blouse (which I really need seeing that ALL of my other clothes cant seem to fit any longer) and a box of elaborated stationaries in verge of my preparation to continue my study.

I felt loved and cared.

This past few weeks, my mood swing have become more severe and I like to blame the lack of management of mine(or others, I dont know..). High expectatation also have become my strongest enemy as I am forced to live up to it rather than go flowing with my style. All this have resulted constant hostile behaviour and tensed conversations (with my husband.)

I have done some thinking and I THINK I might have some answers;

1. Post PMS symptom - often occured to those with irregular menses, as I just had my period once since September.

2. Bad time management - I am always a puctual person. However, too much things and errands and too little time given have made me tense and a lot of things going on in my mind right now, and I cant flag them high or low priority.

3. I think too much - Too much of 'what ifs' and the full 4W1H questions and trying to come up with various answers have making me want to throw things.

What else? But if I think hard enough, I say that I only have myself to blame. Tell me, how do I cope with myself not being me unless I started to act like one (by being me?)

Haha. I sound like someone who have taken a strong antibiotics for flu.

Selamat Hari Raya!!!

How your Raya? So far mine is good. This year Aidilfitri is a handful much of activities.

Day 1

Had our Solat Sunat Aidilfitri at Sunway Mosque, which I certainly feel like being in elsewhere but Malaysia. Too many foreigners but one moment caught my attention as I saw a young man sitting on the stairway crying with the background sound of the takbir. I am not so sure the cause of it but two things slip through my mind;

a) Is either he felt touched with the sentiment of Syawal that he couldnt make it to be with his lovedones,

or

b) He was too overwhelmed by the affectionate scenes showing in front of him; a large group of Nepals, Bangladeshies, Saudis and Nigerian..hugging each other and loitering the compound. I bet he thinks that these people have invaded Sunway on Syawal.. hehe, no?

Right.

A day before Raya, we successfully cooked Rendang Tok; what is raya without it. A long 5-6 hours of cooking definitely prizes us with a delicious delicacies.

People start visiting as early as 11.00 am; nearby neighbours and relatives.

Day 2

Went to Muar to spend Raya day with Pak Mud, my mom's younger brother. Apparently all of her siblings went there on that day and it is nice to see all of them together. Managed to give angpau to fellow cousins and niece.

Later that evening, the boys had fun in the swimming pool and played fireworks and later went for a steamy delicious seafood nearby.

Day 3

Off to Melaka to join the rest of Hubby's family for meminang (for Hubby's younger brother..) It was nice to see another extended families and the ceremony went well with no hassle. Love the environment, we spend half the day there before head off back to PJ.

Day 4

Pak Chu and us decided to take a day trip to Ipoh, to visit some relatives there and my grandparents grave. Although we dont have the time to visit each and everyone in Ipoh, but we had fun and for those who have received our im promptu visit we cant thank you all enough.

This year, my husband and I will celebrate Raya here in Sunway, before heading off to my uncle's place in Muar the next day. Reason being, on the third the my bro-in-law is getting engage and I have to freeze my plan for bringing my husband to Ipoh to visit my extended families and friends for we are going to Malacca for meminang.

Well, maybe next time.

Today is already the 21st day in Ramadhan, and suprisingly I am not enthusiastic over any shopping spree. I have been to Mydin earlier this week to accompany my brother to buy his baju melayu ( the quality is good hence it is quite a bargain). I have been to several hot places like the PKNS Shah Alam, Sunway Pyramid and Midvalley but nothing intrigued me just yet.

I dont really mind wearing one of my baju kurung that have overflown the closet.

Since this will be the first time dearest hubby will spend the Raya with us (well, technically only the first day or maybe the second because we will be joining the rest of his family in Malacca) I have decided to cook some special delicacies.

Rendang Tok

Rendang Tok was my late grandmother speciality. Some say hers was the best. I hope my mother and I would come up with similar taste as it should be. I dearly hope we have the endurance to cook for long hours as rendang tok took 6-7 hours for it to get cooked evenly.

ketupat daun palas

This is my father's favourite. Only that the kelongsong made from daun palas is harder to get than the normal ketupat. I am sure we will come up with something. Maybe put it in plastic instead, no? haha.

I also have ordered some kuih but some of it I rather bake myself.

Kuih Tart

I love tart gulung but if the jam not moist enough it will taste less sedap. My pineapple jam is a little bit dry so this kind of tart will do the best for it.

Samperit

This cute one is our favourite in my family. It tasted mildly sweet as it is mixed with icing sugar but if you measure it wrongly, it will only taste like the tepung.

Mama Carey

I am not going to bake it, but I am sure enough to have it in one of my kuih collections for Raya. Do you guys know where to get the best Mama carey?

That's it then. I am going to make a list for what I need to do before and during Raya.

Ramadhan - a special month.

.:. Salam Ramadhan to all..:.

It have been 4 days we fast this year. Any luck that our iman-o-meter piling up, burningly? With all the stalls and foods sold; for me it is quite a challenge.

I remember 8 years ago, when our surau decided to have our morray ( a feast sponsored by whoever wishes to donate during Ramadhan) to be served in a big round tray instead of a buffet; we felt a little bit resent. We were concern about hygiene and responds from the other Muslim people around, afraid that they will refuse to take part of our morray.

I remember that is the thing that made me grew to be comfortable to be one of the jemaah in surau.

nasi ambang

Soon after it started, we realized that we have sort of invent something like a tradition; to break our fast together by eating together in a shared round tray. It is nothing like nasi ambang, where the foods being mixed up all together. Ours is divided into 4 sections of rice, a bowl or two of some lauk and some vegetables on the side. One tray can be consume by 4 people. Children all ages can't wait for breaking thier fast at surau. Blooming teenagers taking advantages by gather around thier click and catching up with each other meanwhile ayah-ayah and mak-mak .. well, being them as always.Hehe..

It is just an amazing breakthrough as it was started as to save up energy and manpower for dish washing, turned into something that cant wait to be shared. We even prefer to be served in trays rather than plates whenever there is any ocassions in Surau now.

Jemaah first, we eat together later..

Our breaking fast ritual starter are some kuih or light snacks brought by housewives or some people like me that are too busy or lazy to baked/cooked any will buy something from the bazaar. Minutes before the azan, we will be busy preparing and diving dishes for 2 sections; men's and women's. As soon as the azan start, we will dig in lightly because only 5-10 minutes time were given to finish up fast and perform our Maghrib jemaah together. Then only we all gathered again to feast the rice. I can still hear the kecohness, simply harmoniuos to my ear.

It shows intergration and educate the young ones to apply the same.

After that, Isyak will come with tarawikh and again we all beamingly joined the crowd. The terawikh are held and perform 20 (ye ke? kantoi buat 8 selalu, hehe) rakaat each time. This routine will go around for 30 days.

Praying hard to be forgiven by Him; though in the sme time have mercy and provide me health and wealth

And.. after the 30 days, I am sure residence of Tmn Desaria will found themselves missing something. Missing something that have been shared over a month. Missing that touch, that smiles and that moments that only Ramadhan can provide us with?

Can we already miss Ramadhan, when it only days for us in it?

I just bought something online, again.

I have been wanting to buy the tudung ala-ekin for quite sometime, only that when the times come I will have second thought because of the over - price tag and I will look more like an egghead wearing them.

But, still when Farasela approach me with her goodies(please click here), I got hooked up.

Im supposed to buy only the brooches because they all soo cute and cheap, but then the shocking pink mixed with black and blue tudung caught me attention.

Singapore .:. Jalan - Jalan .:. - part 2

This is us with Masjid India on the background. Here, there are souvenirs and some handy craft to be bought for friends, but it all look the same as ours in Central Market. The price there are cheap, if you dont count the foreign exchange rate. :P~

Mustafa center is like our Mydin's. Only that they have a vast variety of original perfumes; you named it, they have it. It is a lot more cheaper that the one selling over the counter. It will drive you crazy to pick and choose. Plus, they have crocs and rockport there, selling them like in stack like in the warehouse sale. There are a lot of brands sold and the price are cheaper than buying them in beautiques.

We only have a day to travel around but it felt only a few little hours. We left Singapore late in the evening and we promised ourselves to go there next time again.

Above picture credited to the Singapore site. Yeah, I finally went there. After Bandung, my hubby and I have decided to make full use of our passports.

So when my SIL called to ask us to go back to JB for her convocation, we just cant refuse. The timing was perfect.

Since the convocation would be on Sunday, and my SIL have a tea party with the big shots to celebrate the genius people in UTM; my hubby and FIL and also me head off to CIQ to enter Singapore.

Me at Arab Street

The first destination was the Arab St. It was the place to stay for all Hajj pilgrims from all over Asia like Bangladesh, China, Cambodia, to name a few. That is why until now there are still traders of all sorts came from Saudi, and other Arabic countries. The place now are the main tourist attraction.

Gado-Gado Singapura

I've tried the gado-gado. It was delicious eventhough I felt bloated after that ; resulted from too many eating frenzy. There, the local small bistro's mushroomed up the streets and it sort of accupied the Singaporean the 'kopitiam' as they loved their cousines.

Murtabak Singapore

Another popular food there in Arab street is murtabak singapore. It taste no different from our's only a little bit dry and it served with slices of cucumber with ketchup rather than pink cherlot.

Most of the places in Singapore are non-smoking one. But we noticed some of the locals dengan selambanya smoking but cover- cover in one mamak restaurant in front of Mustafa's.

I am pissed.

Last few days have been very unexpected days to me. Some of it good but some of it doesn't fall in any of the two categories (good or bad). Most of the time now I feel rather numb about everything. like oh, surprise (ok.), oh my God there is a cat in the hole (ok.), I am getting fatter (ok.). It just as if I have lost my senses. I don't really know the terms for it but it must have something to do with psychiatric dimensions in my genius mind that have been too tired of.. everything lately.

Hopefully my counting of blessing deserves some solace.

With H1N1 growing day by day; as a good samaritan (ehem!) I would like you guys to help yourself prevent this epidemic sickness by 3 simple steps;

1. Wash you hands; even when you dont have too. There is 65% higher chances of people to get an airborne infections by touching or exchanging the most little fluid of saliva. It is better for you to follow the correct ways of washing hands using soap produced by the Ministry of Health.

2. Cover your mouth with a hankerchief or towels or tissue while coughing or sneezing. This not only applied to prevent infections, it is a good ethic to oblige.

3. Stay quarantine when you are told to do so. You act may save life.

There you have it. A simple steps to follow.

Next Big Leap.

Last weekend, my husband and I went to Summit for G.I Joe. Smashing cool.. For those who have not seen it, please go and watch. I have a friend that claims himself to be sleeping for the entire Transformer show, but G.I Joe keep him at the edge of his seat. It took us the whole day as we stroll along that mall hours before our showtime. It took me back a little, I felt uneasy and tired today and a part form the lazy mondayness I always have, maybe that got something to do with it too.

I wish the accelerator suits that kind are for sale here. So much so that I can jump around to work or chasing bad guys on the streets in between or just accidentally squashing a car or two.

Hehe. Lovely thought.

Alhamdulillah, I have passed with unexpected marks for my english test. Now that have been done, I need to settle tons of other forms and procedures and authorizing my certs and on and on and on.. 2 months earlier I was counting my blessing to have been lucky and now that the light of beaurocracy have taken it place; I am not so sure about it anymore.

Well, I think it might just have been a jolt of nervousity.

My husband and I have planned to have a small trip during this weekend to the neighbouring country and I hope that I could find something special there to bring back. In other words, IF I could find the monetary funding to buy that gorgeous shoes/purses I saw via net that day.

Mayze - the misspelling of maize (Spanish Corn)

I would say that the definition of the word Mayze itself correctly addresses the band mission and purpose.

No. They are not another Indonesian band. We had too many of that lately. They are all about rocking hard, experimenting with good sounds,and what is more important is that the band is clearly a statement of 10 to 15 years of friendship where music brought them together.

The genre they carried often misunderstood by many, as rock is not exactly the prime choice for Malaysian market. However, after listening to their track "Propaganda Minda" I will definitely say that this kind of music that convey message for people all ages, despite the hard music. I am sure that they have been working very hard (while enjoying) making this song. It reminded me very much of Muse. And owh, the vocal is so sexy.

It just another good reason to visit our neighboring country; apart from end-of-the-year sale shopping spree..Sadly I am not going to be there until after the 13th.

Me and some friends (17 of them) gather together and feast and bitch about life and other people at Flamming Buffet Sunway. It was a sure winner; an impromptu event that Mazlly and I held to sort of 'reunite' some of our long lost friends. It only took us a few days before to organize this and although it is self-sponsored, and thank you Mazlly that have sponsored a delicious choc cake, everybody had a wonderful time, am sure of it.

Can I throw away this *&^^ a/c?

For the past few days of this week, my library a/c have been not working well, resulted with only a shy blow for us to bare with this heat weather. I am running out of complain forms, I have been complaining and matters have been taken as the technician have came twice.

Should I just disable the parts and throw it to the nearest lake.

Protest.

Meanwhile, I am anxious to wait for my result. Hopefully everything went well. It driving me nuts.

I have been thinking of doing some sort of physical makeover (a part form growing horizontally each bloody week) , like my hair. I know some of you will see no point of having to do something beneath covered hair but it matters because I can flaunt it for my berangan time for myself and also a gift for my husband. (at least I will look more decent than having my hair up clipped and end up looking like a scary ghost. hehe)

It will be easy if I had normal straight hair. But I don't. My hair is very wavy and it tends to make more curls at the end of it. If I opt for a short hair and knowing myself with low maintenance ability it will end up cow licked and improper.

Maybe a little cut and color will be nice.

A motorcyclist from Hell.

On the bright yesterday evening, my friend who is the PA of the CEO of this college; drove along the Puchong highway to enter ELITE highway to go back to her place in .. erk.. Putrajaya(Babe, manela rumah kau? aku lupe..hehe). She was caught in a traffic jammed where her car was beautifully in the middle of many other lanes with drivers who was tired and at that moment stress- fully waiting for the heavy flow to ease out.

A sudden crash nearly gave her a shock as she stood still; trying to sink in the incident. A motorcyclist came in her passenger's side of the car and crash her window and took her handbag.

She felt helpless.

It took minutes for her to realize she have been robbed; and pursuing the suspects in such traffic condition was not really an option. A noble old man with his JKR shirt on came to her rescue.

The moral of the story are;

1. The snatch thief have no moral; and if only they have been caught I rather snatch their balls out back than wasting the government money to lock them up and throw them back on the street again.

2. Please women.. put your handbags or other valuable things away from within reach area. if you must, put your handbags on the floor of the car rather than on the seat. If you have no other option; as many of us women carrying 1k plus or higher worth of handbags, put it besides you on the passenger seat, bring out your valuables and put it in the dashboard. Or maybe just don't carry any.

3. I don't really know what skill they have to identify which is the car with handbags on the seat in one glance? Bomohkah?

But seriously, there are many more incidents like this and these culprits have revolutionized and multiplied their plan of attack. According to one of the policemen, there are reports about a snatch thief pretending someone who is lost; a snatch thief with the disguise of someone knocking your car from side/back and robbed you when you stop and the list can go on and on and on..

There are many ways for them to get that evil plans going. It is up to us to be aware of our surroundings.

4. I thank Allah Almighty that my friend is alright; although she was a litlle bit shocked but she survived. I can not imagine if she have the courage to faught back and got hurt or something.

1. I had a meeting at 10am, and I have to come in early (at 9.00am) and I need stay until 8.00pm. Officially today I am all burned-out.

2. I have made some call to the necessary people and organization and I think I have it clear by now.

3. Have you ever have the thought of not having the guts to do something incredibly simple and silly to be gutsy about? I have and I would like to overcome my silly-noia. Help!

One thing for quickie, I have been with this company for 2 years and a month now. Wow. Talk about loyalty and dedication (not to mention my hardwork and self-proclaim success.)

Comedy in Malaysia.

It is hard enough for us all to go through the day with such hustle and stress; and all we wanted to do at the end of the day are chill and relax. One of many good ways to relief build up stress is by laughing. We all love to laugh; and to do that we know that we need a mechanism to generate it.

At what and who? I mean, there will be always the creator behind everything, hence the inventor of giggling our stomach out.

There were times in Malaysia where comedy are being restricted to not to touch any of racial, politics, and other sentiment that are considered taboo. But now, the Malaysian have broaden their mind and cynical humors are taken lightly rather than a feedback of an awkward silence.

Afdlin Shauki: One of Malaysian idealistic comedian.

The humors evolutions starting from the black and white Charlie Chaplin slapstick's performance; and when Malaysian are pro enough to make our own shows; the P.Ramlee everlasting slapsticks plus moral and cultural values jokes are everywhere. I still enjoyed some of the films until now.

When the black box became coloured box; the 90's are full with comedy show like Baba and Nyoya and the one I truly remember was the Pi Mai Pi Mai Tang Tu, because the line up was multi cultured and the jokes is effected with our life back then and people acknowledge that.

Remember Pak Uda in Pi Mai Pi Mai Tang Tu who always falsely buttoned it clothes? (the guy with the kissy is unknown.)

Imuda @ Budin the unemployed dude that always been the target suspect if there is any crime going on.

After the rise of the Pi Mai Pi Mai seems to fade off after a while; there are some other comedy show which I cannot recall right now and I think one of it will be Jangan Ketawa. It created a controversy rumors as the actor whose always crossed dress as a women is being accused with many false accusation and somehow the show stopped.

Many of the err... crossed dresser claim that Dee's appearance are mocking rather than being funny to them.

There are many of independent comedy shows everywhere. I personally love Salleh Yaakob, Din Beramboi and Saiful Apek. They all have experience nagatives reviews and cionstant pressure of providing update laughter materials. Maybe they are all being despised at but for me; they all have thier own strength and style.

He have made Tanjung Rambutan instituition an instant hit from one of his witty songs

He have made quite an impressive comeback after his legal action on copyright to one of the comic in Malaysia.

Yeah. He have made some revolution to the local comedy scene; the kids love him. Many of his "berdetak jantung", His witty remarks and his roller shoes.

Salam to All.

Lately, I have been suffocate with tremendous amount of ad hoc matters that really doesn't suit the purpose of the situations.

But hey, life is not life if its not colorful isn't it?

So, blow that thing away from my precious mind as I have many things to worried about eg. my weight, my looks etc etc..

Alhamdulillah, a quick update to my life now seeing everything is and hopefully will be still bliss and cheerful always. There are some hiccups along the way but don't let me start on the colorful life talk again.

I am over with MJ death by now. Maybe the aura of "redha" just filling in the empty space of my bimbo's mind. If its true he have been a Muslim, I will always recite Al - Fatiha to him, may he will be at peace..

Back to the life concerning matter; I am hoping to get some new shoes and perfumes. **hint.

I am busy preparing myself for some language test and I do really hope I can pass it with flying , no maybe springingly success so that it will be worth it every cents of that RMxxx.

Education can be darn expensive.

Listening to the news; attacked me with sudden silent. My siblings and I grew up listening, dancing and singing to his songs and we will wait anxiously for his music video on the tv; we will mimic his dance moves and I still can get enough of that moon walk of his. This is all in the 80's, and I felt in love with his songs.

Through his prosperous life; with unlimited supply monetarily and he lived the life of a king, getting everything that he wants and helping others. His weird crave of body modification and construction taken its toll; leaving him on a spotlight all the time and endless rumors; feeding the press and gossip takers with many to gossip about.

Many said he had gone bonkers.

Many also said that he had done everything he had accused at.

But he had helped many with his wealth and fortune and many lives change because of his kindness to give despite all.

Many fans cried out loud and in silence for his departure today.

May his end will be a beginning of many good example taken from his initiatives that he have started.

Hello.

Just a quick update;

1. H1N1 is getting nearer everyday. One day its in KL, and today its already in PJ. Please wear mask if you have cold or flu; wash your hand frequently and avoid public places for a while.

2. Today is already end of June and before you know it, Ramadan is around the corner. I pray for more bliss and happiness throughout the year, Amiin.

3. Wishing to get a slot for Transformer II movie, and I've heard the tickets have already sold out since the opening on the 16th, for premier and worldwide view on 23rd and 24th.Dasyatt~

4. I am already missing a public holiday; there is none for next month. Should I apply for leave, again?

5. Yesterday was supposed to be my blues day; but instead somehow I have been jolt with enough motivation to finish up paperwork and today.. is a bit mellow. I am finding some ways to get back on track, should not fall into this lazy trap even how tempting it is..

I haven't got the chance to update since the holiday end. There is some of newly arise issues need to be taken care of; and leaving this space collecting it dust.

Plus, I had a very severe diarrhea for several days and I think (i love to) I had lost some retented fluid in my body and I do look slimmer. But the healing process was very slow and the medicine doesnt kick off like they usually do.

Left me with tremendous pain in my **s.

Siket je tak banyak.

I have been thinking of writing bit and pieces about the travel; but I only can spare myself a few minutes here so that's that for now.

So just a quick note to update;

1. Good news is on the way.. Well, it is confirm but I don feel like telling just yet. Lets keep this mystery a little while longer..

2. No, its nothing to do about me being pregnant.

3. Struggling to find my momentum at work. Post-holiday swing are unbearable.

4. Although there was a few jolts happen a few weeks ago, I am going to blow pass it and ignore it to contain myself from any emotional strike.

There are many factory Outlet (FO) in Bandung and below is the one that we managed to went to;

Rumah Mode; we all went to Rumah Mode twice and spend about 1 million Rupiah each.. haha.. pasti kembali.

The Secret; the second best shopping place for us. Although we do not spend as much but the price and the quality of things here are ok. Recommended.

The Summit; bought my Sister In Law's handbag here. The price ok only that we are tired from travelling all day and we cant focused as much.

Cascade; bought my Mother in Law's handbag here. The quality are much better than the rest; hence the pricey tag.

24th May 2009: Bandung

Day 3

8.30 am: We are ready and prepared to check out. Our hired supir, Pak Bambang already arrived and after everyone ready we take the 2 hours journey to Bandung.

To those who have been taken the trip from Jakarta to bandung can remember all the sawah bukit and small houses along the highway.

I bet people who take the train won by having to witnessed the most beautiful scenery.

12.30pm: Arrived in Bandung and have our lunch at one of the Sunda Resto.

23rd May 2009: Jakarta ( Part II)

Day 2

10.00 am: After the heafty breakfast, we all head up to the famous Tanah Abang that sells almost anything. There; famous for thier heavy embedded and laces materials and the price are quite reasonable.

2.00 pm: My husband and I decide to join our uncle who coincidentally came to Jakarta the same day as us at Sate Khas Senayan. The price is quite pricey but hey.. the food was superb.

4.00 pm: After lunch, my husband and I decide to go to ITC Mangga Dua, to window shopping. We regret that we decided not to take the bajai to get there, macet everywhere.

Inside of Mangga Dua, similar to Sungei Wang but there is a LOT of immitation handbags and batik.

6.00pm: When to Blok M to meet Jijan and Nas and the rest of the gang then went back to hotel for freshen up. Our dinner is at nearby street; Jalan Kebun Sirih but couldnt remember the name of the stall. It was ok. From there, we taken a cab to Kemang and enjoy a 2 hours live band at D Rock cafe. After my ears begging me to leave; we took a cab back to our hotel and leaving the rest of the deaf gang there.

While we are back early in the hotel room; we enjoy several channels and it seems that Indos enjoy reality TV show and talk show very much. we laughed at cartoon that are being translated into indonesian language; somehow it sounded funny.

We both cant wait for Bandung trip the next day.

Corrections: The first day; we had our dinner at Abuba Steak, a local Resto located nearby our Bale-Bale Spa. Good surroundings and ambience. I must say. The food is ok for my tastebud.

Holiday: Jakarta-Bandung (Part I)

Day 1

8.00 am: Arrived at LCCT. Thanks to FIL, we linger around until its time for boarding. We carry 2 bagpacks, and a suitcase containing another suitcase. Met the rest of the gang there at 9.00am

9.50 am: Fly...

Scenery above the sky;far below is Tanah Jawa. Breathtakingly beautiful!

11.50 am: Its 10.50 (Jakarta time) and the weather was good. The Soekarno-Hatta bandara reminds me of our ol' Subang Airport; and we have been taken backwards to the 90's.

1.00 pm: Arrived at the hotel, Ibis Tamarind. While waiting to our room to be fixed and primped; we have our lunch at the Garuda Resto, a Nasi Padang restaurant (a good place, good price; recommended)

2.30 pm: After freshened up; us girls went to Bale - Bale Spa; to pamper ourselves with deep massage and lulur or scrub and the famous v-spa. The price are more cheaper than Malaysia and we had a great time catching up while stretching our muscle to be squeeze and tendered.

5.00 pm: While we are busy pampering ourselves, the boys are busy cursing the longest 2 hours taxi ride. Welcome to Jakarta; the famous congested place and over crowded with vehicles that lead to macet (traffic jam). many of the local opt for ojek ( the motor rider) or bajai ( the tricycle) to go about in town as they are much more cheaper and most importantly faster.

6.00 pm: Since the boys were busy steaming thier hot rod in the taxi seats; we all went back to the hotel and enjoy the packed food brought by Dida.

10.00 pm: We decided to take an early night as tomorrow will be more packed with money-changing hands activities.

Day 2

9.00 am: had our breakfast at Pasar Kue.Tasty and yummy!! We had a big breakfast with variety of kue and a few of teh botol sosro; and it only cost us less than RM5.

- Today is the day that I rather worry about what kind of spa treatment I'm going for during my vacation rather than to update about which supplier have been pending our orders.

- Today also happen to be the day that I finally done with all; the interviews, the payments, the pending stuff, all. *big smile here.*

- Today I spent hours of discussing a temporary hand- over task to my trustful colleague. Hopefully everything will be fine. If its not; well... I really don't care.

- Today also the day where I should worry more about my complexion and what shoes to bring rather than waiting anxiously for that particular 'thing with good news' to be arrive. Also have to stop calling the office for asking for when it to be arrive.

- Today, I noticed I received more smiles than yesterday.

- Today I believe that with a good heart and acts of pure kindness, are all we need to survived.

Switch On Holiday-Mode.*

From the past hundred of days, My friends and I were and still planning for our next big trip. We are no millionaire nor celebrities; so ample time was what we need to come up with enough money to fund this humble trip.

There are many ideas and places been voices out but after crucial and many, many meetings we ended up with a decision to take a trip to our neighborhood country, Jakarta and Bandung.

So far, the transport airfares and accommodation as well as our 'supir' have been arranged and paid.

There will be 8 of us, Mr. Jijan, Miss Nasreen, Mr. Azmi, Miss Siti Sara, Mr. Ezree, Miss Dida and Mr. and Mrs Ruffey. (hehe.. motiff??)

So, since it will be exactly 8 days from now; I think it is not to early to list all the necessities need to be packed.

I wonder wether we still have enough room with this kind of bag..hrmm

So, I am going to to travel with 2 backpack and a trolley bag (there is another bag inside it) and a pouch bag to keep our gadgets and gears as well as money and ID cards.

The ever popular people-friendly proton saga. It affordable, and it is easy to drive (auto, of course.) plus it has the extra space that I need to carry my stuff (that are usually a lot of them.)

From the day I got married, I find carrying the normal size girly clutch is quite un- practical. I switch to my husband's old wallet (since he have the new one from the hantaran) and been wearing that ever since.

Of course, that is not my laptop. **Berangan**. But of course I will use my PC with internet connection to blog.

5. Watch

Again, this is not my watch. ut I love geneva watch by Cerutti and wish that someday I can afford to buy one.

Have you ever stuck in a situation where you would; at the very least of your weakest strength to remain your composure, mouthed the word "fcuk" because of certain incidents that you only have yourself to be blame?

I have mine (quite a number of it) lately.

#incident 1.
Gone to the counter only to know that there is something wrong with hubby's mycard and he have to go to JPN to have it clarified. Felt guilty; if only we have brought the BC together.

My number is up, and swiftly hand over the Mycard. Lucky me, Mycard behave normally and can be read instantly. However, I forgot to bring the old PP to replace the new one.

There are some paperwork need to be submit to the ED, and it needed to be both in print and soft copy. So I emailed and double check the content and quickly submit the hard copy.

The hard copy is my latest resume to be submitted to other companies. I took the wrong file.

My husband and I love to start our morning early; well actually he does, and being a good source of comfort I just follow his schedule although I am so drained and miss my pillow.

On one of the good, sunny Saturday morning, we would have our breakfast at the mamak's and enjoying each other company by gossiping over the newspaper articles.

We both forget our wallet and purse.

I can say today is a fast-pacing day for me. As I was about to prepare for the visit; an ad hoc meeting came up and requires me to do some progress report cum proposal for the new Nursing School library setup. It does (and it will) sound a little bit overwhelming and that is just the thing I need to boost up my energy level and motivation.

My long last weekend was indeed great. We had a dinner together with some friends at Paddington something-something at The Curve that serves all sort of pancakes; right before our movie “X Men: The Wolverine” starts. It is totally new and exciting movie to be watch.

Later we had our midnight supper at Murni; Hubby wanted to try the nasi goring napoleon seafood that turned out to be quite a mouthful. And tasty too.

We are quite pissed off with the Immigration as the Labor Day holiday for them means for the whole weekend. Part of it is our fault for not doing it earlier and now we are quite concern for it as the date are coming soon.

We are now in “excited-gile-rasa-nak-kemas-beg” stage. We have come out with a list to do;

1. Passport – Must do it within this week.

2. Money Changer – have to check the Currency Exchange once again

3. ATM conversion for international use – in case of shopping emergencies

4. Packing – Lightly

All of the above can be done swiftly after the work here are done and nicely delegate at least until I come back from the holiday. That means I have only 14 days to go.

1. Remain composure, yet again have to re-assure myself. I have this feeling of bursting out loud if something or someone poke the wrong hole. Seriously need to consider anger management therapy.

2. Have been broke for several days until the pay day. Need to maintain serious momentum and strategic, monetary planning on how to save up for the holiday next month.

3. Met a sweet, young and talented someone who like to sell me some insurance policy. Not to buy anymore policies; but sure love to meet her again..

I have started this week with full of (fake) enthusiasm for work that need to be complete and daily operational matters that need to be attend. Somehow, even though capabilities and where I should stand my ground with are always in my prayers; things have been swift to the wrong current.

Ah, well. It just me being melodramatic like always, really.

I developed a defense wall in my mind to stop imagining and assume nonsense things by deliberately channel it to different events and occasions I have made up to satisfy my fantasy.

1. Cooks a meal or two.
Nothing is more rewarding than having your taste bud a well reserved pampering. Although there is a lot of fancy new restaurants/kopitiam/gerai to be hogged about but there is something special when it comes to home cooked meals.

2. A trip of holla to the mannequin
Right. I have been too much concentrating to my work and I neglect the latest information about fashion and trends. Keeping up with it by strolling around the mall should keep the stress off from the system.

3. Read a good book
Like, a really out-of-this-world stories that happen in our everyday lives. Or maybe something that you able to relate with your current situation, and how to handle it.

4. Exercise
Obviously not my type of stress-relief therapy. But still, you will end up feeling fresh and vibrant and as your blood flows being cleared stirring up you will also look more radiant.

This picture was taken somewehere around the year 2007, for a friend that doing one reality tv game show; that havent or wont be aired now. The causes remain a mystery to all.

That is not the point of the entry.

This picture remind me of the genuine happiness in me; having not to worry about anything; except for finding ways to gain more money for my shopping crave.My priority of life have changes many times during certain phases.

After SPM, the happiest moments are with friends and families; even with a low part-time pharmacy staff wages that offers only a quater of what I am getting now regardless of responsibilities that are yet to come.

During my years in Uni, the satisfaction of stirring knowledge to sink in and also achievements on passing subjects with or without flying colours. Only regret that I was suffocated by a love-life drama that may lead to down slide during the first few years; that I now realize it was part of the adventures.

I had an interesting start of having a few of jobs as it was during that time I learned the true meaning of the terms racist and office politics. It all came down to my own understanding to be as transparent as I can be not wanting to be despise or despising any.

It set me back a few times, as my life now evolving around people that I have known long before the huge responsibilities sink in, how we have grown up and matured; if any. I cant say that I already have everything that I want; looking back what I have now is certainly more than I have before.

Alhamdulillah.

After all that I have been through; after all the down turn that happen in my life and now that I am okay if not more; why do I feel empty? But yet again what is happy for me?

To be happy is being able to smile genuinely without any obligation.

To be happy is to live life with enthusiasm and hopes that wont fade

To be happy is when we had everything but yet nothing are being resent.

To be happy is to have it all; in our own definition of life.

But then again what makes me happy? Is it

A. More money?

B. Being thin?

C. having my dream job?

D. All of the above?

Maybe I need time for muhasabah.

Yeah, I need that.

Different kind of Entertainment

Today, I am happy; in whole abbreviation terms of it.

I haven't felt this kind of feeling for quite sometime now, and its good. I wish this feeling will last long enough.

I wish.

In a meantime, a friend of mine introduce me to poetic music that been brought by indie's. All those group are known and have been in the industry for years now, but without unnecessary exposures from the media for gossip columns, fame are usually far from them.

The emerging of indie music (indie is a short for independent music; that carries a different vibes and personalities that are totally different from the one we have in the market. The artist that carries indie music are more focused on their productions of music itself rather than any market-catcher indicators. They can be freely expressing their thoughts and ideas even provoking matters in politics or environmental issues.

What makes them really special is that they perform, produce and believe in their products.

And most of them are active with NGOs that promote positive-related issues and it definitely gave them an advantage to make a good introduction to potential fans. Believe me some of them are better than our readily recording artist.

I now searching for places to go for a deep/soul healer; in term of touting beautiful words with unfamiliar melody.

A different kind of things can stimulate and refresh our mind.

IPTA or IPTS (and it always about $$$)

Last night, while I was waiting for a friend to pick us out for a dinner (Thanks kematz, lain kali aku punya turn plak belanja kau ok!), I had a quick chat with my neighbour while handing her buah salak from extended friend.

We talked about a niece of her got into IPTS that offers a great deal of courses that will definitely drain thier money out.It brings me to this matter, why?

The thing is with IPTS, not only it is not funded by the government, also it depends totally on the number of students; as it will effect the whole system.

Without students, IPTS cant gain the MQA Accreditation the very least or else pass. Most of the IPTS that I have known of do not put monetary back up to run its operations and they depend on the fees and other service charges can be paid up by the students.

That is why we can see that a lot of IPTS with a very different standard; totally depends on how much and how big.

I do not resent that IPTA selection for students intake will be much tougher and higher stakes, as it will never seperate the value of education and knowledge receives elsewhere. It will come down to one value-indicator; ourselves.

Do we have been pampered with too many bearucracy favor that we could not care less about the future of our children?

Well, that something to think of during our spare time.
